CSA is the Canadian standards association (CanadianStandardsAssociation) shorthand, it was founded in 1919, is Canada's first designed for non-profit institutions formulate industry standards.  In 2001, CSA was divided into three associations: Canadian Standards Association, Management System Certification and International Certification Association.
